Recently, she finally breaks her silence and revealed what is the reason for her hiatus from showbiz.
In an interview online from “Just In” Carla finally opened up about her health issue problem. During the taping of her latest project “Love of My Life”.
The shooting was temporarily paused or stop because of Carla’s weight gaining drastically. During that time, Carla facing serious pressure.
” July tayo nagstart ng Love of My Life, August, September nag gain ako nag 26 pounds on total sa loob ng 4 months na ikinatataka ko. Kasi nala diet food ako, nag wowork out ako 3 times a week. Bakit nadadagdagan ng nadadagdagan ang timbang ko kesa mabawasan o ma-maintain? Hindi siya nag stop”.
Carla was alarmed for her condition because of unexplained weight gain. Because of that, Carla seek some advice from medical professionals.
Carla consulted not one, but two medical experts just to be sure what’s happening to her at that time. After the two consultations, she found out that she has a liver complication and hyperthyroidism.
“May problem pala ako sa liver, may asthma daw pala ako, so kumabaga the more kami magpatingin, the more na may nahahanap kami. Ang hirap kasi sabay sabay. Hindi ako makatayo. Sobrang sakit ng tuhod ko and then lumaki ang tiyan ko and sumakit ng todo yung tiyan ko na ang tigas tigas”. Carla said.
With the help of proper diet, medicine, and workout. Carla Abellana getting back to her shape again gradually. Up until now, Carla still worries about her health and often consults her doctors.
She also gives some advice to others who suffer the same condition as she was before that they need to follow their doctors’ advice.
