This was confirmed on the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) by some anonymous but trusted industry insiders.
Star Magic was Bea’s homegrown management since 2001, where she discovered her talent and grew as one of the most respected actresses in the showbiz industry.

The management also considers the 33-year-old actress, one of their A-list star along with John Lloyd Cruz and others.

A-lister is the name given to the artist with premium box-office, television ratings, endorsements, and fan base.
In October 2020, Bea Alonzo’s contract with Star Magic ended. According to the reports, she didn’t renew her contract, and no rumors have been heard from ABS-CBN bosses.

This is different from what we’ve heard from the grounds of the Kapamilya network about other artists who have fled. They are said to be sounded “ungrateful” and warned “there is no going back” when the network goes up again.

It can be said that “emotional blackmail” is taking place, where it is said that artists receiving jobs at other stations do not care about the network that made them famous when it will ƒαℓℓ.

Although there are no hints about Bea, there has been a lot of talk about what will happen in the career of one of the best faces in film and television.
Until yesterday, PEP.ph confirmed the news that Bea has left Star Magic and is now under the management of veteran talent manager Shirley Kuan.

It is based on conversations that revolve around the industry, including the circle of independent movie producers, those on the grounds of the Kapamilya network, and PAMI, a group of talent managers of which Shirley Kuan is included.

However, the people who might be involved avoided the reporters who want confirmations regarding this matter.
