Just like the Mayor of Marikina City who is being praised and appreciated right now. As many of the leaders are ‘mιssιng in α¢tion’ right now, this man even went under the rain and floods just to make sure that his residents are all safe.
He is none other than Marcy Teodoro, the respected Mayor of Marikina.
The official page of Marikina PIO posted photos of him in the middle of the flood wearing mask and is soaked wet to the rain checking every area of his city.
Many of his constituents are calling him a true public servant. One of the comments says:
“Kagabi kapa walang tulong mayor marcy the best ka talaga ibang mayor san kaya ngayon.”
Mayor Teodoro was holding a walkie talkie while checking every parts of Marikina.
According to PAGASA, Typhσσn Ulysses has landed three time in Quezon City. So this explains the immediate fℓoods within those area.
Meanwhile, Donnalyn Bartolome sent boats to Marikina so that they can use it to rescue animals as well as stranded people under their roofs.

By posting on her official Facebook account, Donnalyn announced that she needs someone to help as volunteers who know how to use boats.
Early in the morning, Donnalyn posted that she ordered boats from companies and she needs help to find volunteers to do a rescue mission due to the dєvastatiσn of the typhσσn Ulysses in barangays of Marikina and Rizal.
After an hour, she posts an update saying that the boats are ready and she finally found people who volunteered to rescue missions.
According to her, The Montalban volunteers will help to save their fellowmen within that area while the Rizal chairman will lead a formed team.
“MARIKINA and RIZAL residents Sino ang gusto may volunteer for rescue? Marunong magsagwan at lumangoy, Kahit magbayad ako. I’m buying boats na so let me know asap! Need ann ng help ng barangays Dahil Lagi a busy and lines Nila. God help those who need you please please [crying emoji]” According to Donnalyn post.
“AN UPDATE: We got big boats in a truck on the way to Rizal and Montalban.
the rescuers are ready and complete, Montalban resident rescuers from the area I Montalban and Rizal chairman will lead the team. Also, they send some proofs of the proper use of boats to rescuing people and animals.
THANK YOU for helping me to find volunteers. I don’t know anyone from the areas affected by typhoon Ulysses, so I needed it.
Rest your hearts, we’ll get through this.”
After a while, Netizens thank and praising Donnalyn for having a good heart to help and to share her blessing without hesitation.
