Helene Budok a.k.a Hiponn Girl started her career in showbiz industry in the most unexpected way. After auditioning as a contestant on GMA’s Wowowin segment, she managed to capture the audience’ attention especially the host Willie Revillame, who find her very entertaining and charming.
After that moment, she then became Wowowin’s co-host also known as Willie’s Angels together with Sugar Mercado, Donita Nose and many more.

Aside from her hosting events, Herlene also started her luck as an actress. Her first role was an OFW who fell inlove with his employer in Magpakailanman.
That is where she proved that her talent as an entertainer does not only limit on making people laugh, but making them cry their hearts out too!

Because of her dedicated and her hard work, she started having her own properties and investments such as her own house, cars and businesses!
On her interview with GMA Network, Herlene recalled how hard was life for her and for her family.
“Wala akong talent. Wala akong kahit anong talent. Kapal lang ng mukha ang nagdala sa akin dito. Kung may talent ako pero hindi naman makapal ang mukha ko, wala rin.” she admitted.

Harlene grew under the supervision of her grandparents. According to the celebrity, they are the main reason why she is working hard.
“Ako na lang daw ‘yung dahilan kung bakit sila masaya. Ayun na lang daw ‘yung inaabangan nila sa buong maghapon. Simula daw nung napasok ako dito, ako na lang daw ‘yung nagpapasaya sa kanila.” she said.

Added Herlene, “Nadoble lang nung napasok ako dito pero nung hindi pa ako ganito, ako pa rin naman daw. Naging doble daw, naging inspirasyon na daw nila ako sa pang-araw-araw nila..”
She even talked about how she spend her first salary as a host, where she took her family to eat outside as per Willie’s advise.

Up until now, Herlene still grinds hard for her dream and her family and is always grateful for Willie’s once in a lifetime opportunity he had given her.
“Sobrang thankful ako kay Kuya Wil na binigyan niya ako ng chance na ma-try ko itong ganitong sitwasyon sa buhay. Dati extra-extra lang ako, ngayon naka-focus na ‘yung camera sa akin,”

Recently, Herlene became emotional as she expressed her gratitude towards Willie Revillame in one of her latest vlogs.
According to her, during the recent passing of super typhσσn Rolly, the roof of their house blown away.
At the beginning of the video, Herlene began by showing a tour of their house.
Also to debunk the rumors about her having a huge house.
Bakit nga ba ako nag-house tour? Kasi sa YouTube maraming nakikitang mga pekeng bahay ko daw, mga mansyon, may sasakyan. Hindi po sakin yun,” she quipped.
Herlene then revealed how Willie immediately helped her and her family to get their house fixed.
She said that Willie aids her twenty thousand pesos for their roof to fix.
“Speaking of Wowowin, nabagyo po kami ng bagyσn Rolly. Nabutas po yung bubong namin, nalipad po yung isang kalahati po nung yero.”
“So nakarating po kay Kuya Wil at binigyan niya po ako ng 20,000 cash. Sabi niya dito pampaayos daw ng bubong. Ayan, thank you so much po kay Kuya Wil sa 20,000 na binigay niya. Kuya Wil, maraming maraming salamat.”
At one point during the vlog, Herlene shed some tears as she recalls how Willie continues to help her and her family even though she’s not part of the show anymore.
