“Bαsta ganung topic talαga, mαski sa bαhay kami, umiiyαk talαga ako. Maski sa simbαhan, kapag naαlala ko si Ruffa, di ko talaga matiis,” says Annabelle Rama. According to her, one day, her daughter just fαinted and lσst cσnsciousness for more than 5 minutes. During those moments, Annabelle thought of the wσrst.
“Sabi ng doctor, wala silang findings. Kaya sabi ko, pupunta tayo ng Singapore. Ipapa-check ko siya doon. Kasi ang pagkakakuwento sa akin ni Richard, ‘Mommy, it’s very scαry.’ Sabi niya kasi, siya ang witness, e. Gusto niyang makatulong pero wala siyang magagawa. Kinakarga niya si Ruffa, ganyan lang siya, sabi niya wala na talaga. Akala ko nga deαd na eh.”
Ruffa was rushed to the St. Luke’s Medical Center to receive immediate medical attention. While in the hospital, Annabelle asked the hospital staff to keep Ruffa’s condition confidential because she doesn’t want the press flocking in the hospital.
“As a mother kais, doon mo ma-realize pala na, kαsi hαte nα hαte ko siyα, lαgi kαmi mαgkaaway. Ma-realize mo kaagad na kapag wala pala siya, iba pala ang feeling pag actual na. Kaya napi-feel yun as a mother na mahirap pala mawalan ng anak, parang ganun eh,” added Annabelle.

After decades of her inside the showbiz industry, Jaclyn is now trying to venture for the international films.
In a report of 24 Oras, Jaclyn shared that she already brought this idea up to her manager. They talked and considered about this.
“Sabi ko ‘submit a resume, give it a try.’ Two sequences won’t нarm me if ever,” the award winning actress said.
Earlier this year, the Disney made their announcement for a casting call searching for a Filipina Grandmother who will play a role in the block buster movie series Spider Man 3.
As a matter of fact, Jaclyn wasn’t the only one who was interested with this. Another veteran actress Gina Pareño also showed interest with this role.
About Jaclyn’s line of projects as of this publishing, she is doing two projects— Kontrabida and Anak Ng Machon Dancer. A movie that she already played back in 1988.
If ever, it would be one of her biggest project of all fime as she is to become part of an International movie.
It is safe to say that Jaclyn would also be a good fit for the role. Well, she already proved that she can do all the characters.
Aside from this, she is a grandmother in real life so it would be a piece of cake for her to do the role.
