Sa social media, ibinahagi ni Andre ang kanilang break-up, na talaga namang nagpalungkot sa maraming fans. Ayon kay Andre, nananatili pa rin silang magkaibigan.
“I’m saddened to say this but recently, Lou and I have come to a mutual understanding to move on from being a couple. We realize we’re going on different journeys in our lives, and no matter how hard we tried to make it work, it isn’t mean to be.”
Gayunpaman, hindi naman nilinaw ni Andre kung anong ang totoong rason ng hiwalayan nila. Ayon kay sa 23-anyos na aktor, parehas silang may goal ni Lou sa kani-kanilang mga career, at hindi na nila ma-work out ang kanilang relasyon. At ang hiwalayan nila ay makakatulong din umano sa self-growth nilang dalawa.
Sa kabila ng lahat, mananatiling magkaibigan pa rin ang dalawa. Ayon kay Andre, kahit pa hiwalay na sila ay isang malaking parte ng buhay niya pa rin si Lou.
Nananatiling mag-best friend ang dalawa, at nagpasalamat rin siya sa kanilang mga fans na sinuportahan ang pag-iibigan nila mula sa umpisa.
“Thank you to everyone for being so supportive to us along the way. We really did try our best, and it saddens us for it come to this realization. Your love and support helped us keep going countless times. We owe it to you guys to be honest about this. We love you all dearly, and don’t want you to be sad.”

Andrea and Lou were former Pinoy Big Brother Otso housemates who eventually fell in love with each other during their stay.
As a matter of fact, they became controversial at one point when the two kissed inside the house without an official relationship.
However, the two proved to everyone that they are really in love with each other. When they both got out to the outside world, Lou and Andrea stayed as an official couple.
Since then, the two shared their journey as a couple to their fans who supported them all the way from the beginning. They have traveled in different places, had their projects and did what couples do.
Sadly, it looks like the stars are not aligned for them. After a couple of years of being together, Andrea and Lou reached the end of their love story.
In an Instagram post, Andrea announced their “mutual understanding” stating that they already broken up.
“I’m saddened to say this but recently, but Lou and I have come to a mutual understanding to move on from being a couple,” Andre began.
Based on his post, the now ex-couple have come to point of having their own ways to go on with their lives. But he said that Lou and him will always be good friends even after breaking up.
Andre also thanked all their fans who truly loved and supported them.
While on the other hand, Lou has yet to give further statements about this. She just added the IG post of Andrea on her story.
