Danica Santos Pingris pens her mom, Dina Bonnevie who is now in a lock in taping for her show.

According to Danica, Dina was way far from being a perfect mom, but she was the best for her.

“Strong, smart and beautiful. That’s our Mama. We would often have misunderstandings when I was a teenager because I didn’t like her rules and didn’t understand her way of discipline. Feeling ko she was too strict. Sabi ko, old school na yan. Little did I know that her pieces of advice would one day be my guide.”

And now that she is a mom herself, Danica lives through her mom’s moral lessons.

“I’m thankful because she has taught us how to be strong. Of course she’s not a perfect Mom, she also has her shortcomings but she did her best in raising us. When I feel challenged sa parenting, sa business at iba pa, I can actually hear her voice in my head… pinapalakas ang loob ko. I’m happy that I’m able to apply everything that she has taught me. Yung disiplina ng isang iba or magulang ay para sa ating mga anak yun. We may not understand at first but it will all make sense when we get older. More so when you become a parent. You’ll know how much how much they sacrificed because they love you.

Dina then commented on her daughter’s post, “Awww! And I miss you more my baby girl!! I thank you for keeping the lessons you learned from me at heart. I am learning from you too, because we are all teachers to one another in this life! Dina Bonnevie at Kristine Hermosa, may tαмρυhαn nga ba noon?

Geraldine Schaer Bonnevie-Savellano or better known as Dina Bonnevie is one of the veteran actresses who has also been in showbiz for a long time.
