Through Instagram Story, Julia greeted three people on this important occasion — her late grandfather Miguel Barretto, former co-star Ian Veneracion, and mother Marjorie Barretto.
Julia first posted a throwback photo of her Grandpa Miguel, who passed away in October 2019.
The Viva actress then posted a throwback photo of her and Ian, who played her father in the ABS-CBN primetime series A Love To Last (2017) and the movie Block Z (2020).
The latest photo is a throwback photo of them with their mother Marjorie.
The photos have no caption, but Julia posted them on Father’s Day itself.
These Instagram Story posts have been deleted, but some netizens took screenshots of them.
Julia’s non-posting of the photo with Dennis is an indication of the truth of the rumors that the father and daughter have another dispute.
The latest controversy involving Dennis and Julia happened just a few weeks ago.
Netizens noticed on June 6 that Julia’s video with her father was no longer on her YouTube channel.
According to the information gathered by PEP.ph, the video was not deleted but hidden so it can no longer be watched.
Julia is said to have done this after the second part of Dennis’ two-part interview with entertainment columnist/actor/talent manager Ogie Diaz was posted on June 2.
In the second video, Dennis talks about his daughter Julia’s involvement in the divorce of Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson in 2019.
Julia is the alleged third party in Bea and Gerald’s separation.
Gerald is now Julia’s boyfriend.
Dennis allegedly asked Gerald if he and Bea were still together. Gerald replied, no.
But when Dennis watched Bea’s interview, where he said that they did not have a formal breakup with Gerald, the comedian allegedly said that Gerald and Bea are still “dating”.
Due to the strong criticism that Julia received, she was forced to hide the YouTube video of her father.
This is possibly an indication that she did not like her father’s comment about the issue.
