“I think I’m grateful because that’s what we didn’t have. In our own experience, we didn’t have parameters.
“For us, we go against culture. Not because we hate it.
“We go against the normal or what the society says, what the culture says, because there’s so much pressure in marriage. And even before you get married, you already feel the pressure.
“And for us, the pressure is the death of growth. We all know it. You press something, it’s not gonna grow.”

“And to be honest with you, every time she talks about art, I get so inspired. Sometimes, it makes me realize na, ‘Wait, she’s making sense. How do I apply it to myself?’
“That’s the kind of house that we have. We live under a roof wherein [the growth is] never ending.
“It’s not all about what you see on Instagram. I wish I could have this conversation with everyone all the time.
