Cristine Reyes and Diego Loyzaga have not yet gone through a workshop for their roles in Encounter.
Encounter is the Philippine adaptation of the top-rating South Korean drama of the same name.

“Originally kasi, we intended to shoot out of the country. Pero dahil nga sa travel restrictions, we were limited to choices dito sa Philippines.
“And I’ve been to Ilocos before, and importante dito sa kuwento yung sunset. And natatandaan ko, doon sa Burgos sa Ilocos Norte, may lighthouse doon na maganda yung sunset.
“So, I recommended that we shoot it in Ilocos Norte.”
