As much as we’d all like to think that famous people are perfect, they aren’t. They make mistakes like you and I—mistakes that at times has landed them in the big house. If you think back to the most iconic mug shots, you’re probably thinking about Justin Bieber, Lindsay Lohan, and more. In the Philippines, however, we do celebrity mug shots a little differently than in Hollywood. For starters, it’s less about driving under influence and more about drugs, disorderly conduct, and… committing plunder? Here are the most notorious Filipino celebrity mug shots.

Xander Ford

The word celebrity might be a reach for Xander Ford, but the social media personality is pretty well known—even if for all the wrong reasons—in the Philippines. In 2020, Ford was arrested after his former girlfriend accused him of violating RA 9262 or Violence Against Women and their Children Act. He was shortly released after posting bail but not before the police could release his mug shots to the public.

KC Montero

Back in June 2020, right when COVID-19 was ravaging the nation, KC Montero was arrested for violating the general community quarantine rules for drinking and dining in a Salcedo Village bar. Over 100 others were arrested along with the host and actor. Montero decried his arrest saying, “That’s like backwards social distancing. They arrest us for protecting us for social distancing tapos force us to not social distance, and then put us… did you see the truck there? That’s bad.”

Jiro Manio

Early in 2020, Jiro Manio was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in Marikina City. The child actor was charged with frustrated homicide. Previously, Manio made headlines when he was seen loitering in Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Kenzo Gutierrez

 

The former Pinoy Big Brother contestant was charged after causing alleged alarm and scandal in Makati City in 2019. According to the police report, Gutierrez was quoted as saying: “Di niyo ba ako kilala? Fuck, putangina niyoAnosuntakan na lang tayo?”

Angela Zamora

Angela Zamora was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite in 2019. Along with the actress, Vladymir Bersana, Jovencio Isler, Christian Lawrence Macanlalay, and Loro Lopez were caught by the police for possessing P68,000 worth of meth.

Migo Adecer

Migo Adecer spent the night at the Makati City police station after being charged for reckless imprudence resulting to physical injuries, damage to public property, and disobedience to person in authority. The actor reportedly hit a pair on a motorcycle in Poblacion and sped off. He then tried to evade arrest and refused to leave his car and surrender his license.

Keanna Reeves

The comedian, actress, and reality star was arrested in 2018 for going on Facebook Live and making homophobic comments directed toward the owner of a food park where she regularly performed. She was charged with cyber libel and granted bail of P20,000.

Julio Diaz

Julio Diaz was arrested with possesion of meth during a drug buy-bust operation in 2018. The Ang Probinsyado actor was caught selling drugs to an undercover police officer. According to the police report, four sachets of drugs worth P60,000 were seized from Diaz.

Zaito

The FlipTop rapper was arrested for possession of drugs by police anti-illegal drug operatives in 2018. Zaito’s house was raided by Kawit police who were equipped with a search warrant after they received a tip about the rapper’s involvement in illegal drugs.

Mark Anthony Fernandez

The son of Rudy Fernandez and Alma Moreno was arrested for marijuana possession. He was released after over a year of imprisonment, and was even rumored to have impregnated two police officers during the period. The actor promptly denied the news and swiftly made a comeback to acting.

Krista Miller

Krista Miller was arrested after a drug buy-bust operation in 2016. Police reportedly seized a sachet of meth, marked money, and more. The actress was later acquitted of the charges and released from prison after two years.

Sabrina M

Karen Palasigue, who’s known in showbusiness as Sabrina M, was arrested at her home during a drug buy-bust operation in 2016. The former actress was caught with meth, drug paraphernalia, and more. She was later found guilty on charges of illegal possession and sale of illegal drugs, and released from jail after serving for nearly two years.

DJ Karen

In 2016, DJ Karen and her boyfriend Emilio Lim were arrested after a drug buy-bust operation in Pasig City. Reports say the two were caught with P3 million worth of ecstasy, marijuana, and marijuana oil. The radio DJ was recently acquitted of all charges after police reportedly failed to comply with certain requirements including the notification of a barangay official and media representative before conducting the operation.

Bong Revilla

 

Bong Revilla looked cheery as the Philippine National Police released photos of the actor-politician undergoing booking procedure in Camp Crame. He was arrested in connection with the multi-billion pork barrel scam. After facing one count of plunder and 16 counts of graft, he was acquitted of plunder. In 2019, he was successfully elected to the senate with 14,617,607 votes.

Jinggoy Estrada

Along with Revilla, Jinggoy Estrada was also arrested for his involvement in the multi-billion pork barrel scam. The actor-politician was later released on bail after three years in jail. As of this writing, his plunder case remains pending.

Erap Estrada

The former President was charged with plunder and perjury in 2001. He was later taken to Camp Crame where he took his mug shot. Though Estrada was later acquitted for perjury and pardoned by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, at least we have still this mug shot to remember the whole thing by.
