The tough-talking broadcast journalist and anchorman Raffy Tulfo discussed the request for Bongbong Marcos to apologize for the corruption and violations that happened at the time of the dictatorship of his late father former President Ferdinand Marcos. Tulfo explained that Bongbong has nothing to apologize for because the sins were done by his father and not him.
He furthered that he understands Bongbong because he has also encountered getting criticized when his family members did mistakes. Moreover, Tulfo stated that the people should allow Bongbong to show that he is not the same as his father.
Raffy Tulfo was asked by Karen Davila on ANC’s “Headstart” regarding the request for presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos to say sorry for the c0rruption and human rights v1olat1ons that happened at the time of the d1ctat0rship of his late father, former President Ferdinand Marcos.
According to Tulfo, Bongbong has nothing to say sorry because the sins were done by his father and not him.

Based on the World Bank-United Nations Office on Dr*gs and Cr1me’s St0len Asset Recovery report, Ferdinand Marcos and his allies accumulated over Php500 billion in 1ll-g0tten wealth. The Presidential Commission on Good Government had obtained a total of Php170 billion from the billions plundered by the former president and his associates.
“Kasalanan nung tatay, bakit magiging kasalanan ng anak?”
“Kasalanan nung tatay, bakit magiging kasalanan ng anak? Why would he apologize for something that he did not do, na ang may kagagawan ay tatay niya? Opinyon ko yan.
“Bakit yung kasalanan ng kamag-anak ipinapasa sa isang kamag-anak? Because I myself [have] been a victim of that. Just because nagkaroon ng isyu yung mga kapatid ko na kaapelyido ko, pati ako nadadamay. Dapat hindi ganun.
“Give the other relative na walang kinalaman sa kaso a chance na para maprove ang sarili niya,” Tulfo told Davila.
He became popular and respected for helping common people to obtain justice against people who aggravated them.

Raffy Tulfo, Nagsalita Na Tungkol Sa Pag-Atras Ni Willie Revillame Sa Pagtakbo
Journalist and now senatorial candidate Raffy Tulfo seems to regret the news of ‘Wowowin’ TV host Willie Revillame’s withdrawal from President Rodrigo Duterte’s challenge to run for senator in the upcoming 2022 elections because of his potential to help the majority.
On Thursday, October 7, Willie broke his silence on the public’s question, whether he will finally give up his Kapuso show ‘Wowowin: Tutok To Win’ and go into the world of politics.
According to him, he does not see himself fighting and making laws because he did not finish school. He said the people’s vote might just go to waste just in case he wins.
He said,
“Sa araw pong ito, tuluy-tuloy pa rin ang Wowowin. Hindi ko po kailangan kumandidato. Hindi ko po kailangan manalo.”
Meanwhile, when Raffy was asked by the press at a media conference held for him on October 9 at a restaurant on Morato Avenue, Quezon City about Willie’s decision not to run for any position in the upcoming May 2022 elections, the journalist answers,
“Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya umatras.”
He said he did not want to speculate on the real reason why Willie withdrew from running as a senator.
All he knew was that he was helpful to his countrymen who are in need.
Raffy said,
“Mataas ang pagrespeto sa kanya ng mga naghihikahos nating kababayan.”
He added,
“And ako rin mismo, nakita ko rin yung kaniyang career kung paano siya umakyat mula sa napakababang simpleng tao hanggang sa naging bilyonaryo at sikat na celebrity dahil sa kanyang pagkakaroon ng ginintuang puso sa pagtulong sa mga maliliit nating kababayan.”
On October 2, 2021, Raffy formally filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) with the Commission on Elections and is said to be resigning from his TV5 programs, especially since he is in the News Department.
