Aya Medel, Nakatanggap Ng Iba’t Ibang Komento Sa Netizens Dahil Sa Pagsuporta Niya Kay BBM

Former s3xy and dar1ng actress Aya Medel supported Bongbong Marcos’ candidacy in the 2022 national elections. As per her, Bongbong is the one she will vote for in the presidency position. Aya even posted on her social media account about it.

However, there was a rumor that she was on the list of showbiz celebrities and personalities where they volunteer to campaign for Vice President Leni Robredo. But, Aya denies the rumor.

According to her, she didn’t sign it because her president is Bongbong Marcos and nothing else. She wrote on her Facebook page,
“I did not sign for that po. My President is BBM.”

As a result, some wanted to boycott her Japanese restaurant called Ishiaya’s Bistro in Tabaco, Albay. This is only because she is supporting Bongbong.

In another post, Aya said that she has 50 staff who depend on her at the resto. Then someone will just boycott her resto only because of her different political stand. Aya also stated that in their resto, they didn’t choose who they want to serve whether they were on the side of Bongbong, Leni, Manny, Lacson, and Isko because they serve their customer from their heart.

Aya was also att@cked because she was a s3xy star back then where she was called ‘Papaya Queen’. She was even criticized by a priest.
She said, was it her fault that she made such a choice? Is it also a s1n to post something like that on her wall?

The former s3xy star also said that she respected and understand the priest who was criticizing her but she pleaded to the public to understand her too. She stated that she is no longer in the showbiz world for how many years now and just leaving a simple citizen who is working hard to help not only her family but also those people who are in need.

The Oxford Philippine Society (OPS) clarified on Friday, October 22, 2021, that Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos did not complete his degree and “failed the preliminary examinations” at Oxford University.

OPS, comprised of Filipino students and alumni of Oxford University in England, also confirmed that Marcos was awarded a Special Diploma in Social Studies in 1978.

“A Special Diploma is not a degree, and neither is it comparable, superior nor equivalent to one. A Special Diploma is not a course of higher education leading to an undergraduate or first degree or even a master’s degree, ”according to the statement.

The group clarified that their only goal is to reveal the truth regarding Marcos’ statement that he completed his studies at the said university.

“We would like to emphasize that this statement is not a political statement. We are making this statement in aid of public discourse in a time where disinformation and fake news are prevalent. Such disinformation prevents Filipinos from exercising their democratic rights in a fair and meaningful way, and we believe every Filipino should have access to correct information as we prepare to vote in May 2022, ”the group said.

Oxford University had previously confirmed that Marcos only earned a “special diploma in social studies,” other than a bachelor’s degree.
