Sa isang panayam kay Sandra nitong Hunyo lamang ngayong taon, hindi niya binanggit ang pangalan ng ama ng kaniyang anak na si Coco.

Pagpapatuloy pa ni Sandra na isa lamang umano siya sa mga tao na nabulag din ng pagmamahal na di kalaunan ay nauwi sa kaniyang mga maling desisyon.
Pinangalanan ni Sandra ang kaniyang anak na Corinth at tinatawag niya itong Coco. Si Coco ay ipinanganak noong Oktubre 25, 2015 sa Amerika.
Sinabi ng beauty queen na nakuha umano ni Coco ang genes ng kaniyang mga magulang pati na din ang kaniyang ama.
“Overall, I think he got the best of both parents-because of his dad he is athletic, highly motivated, enthusiastic, funny, a hustler who never gives up, and very bibo and lambing! Oh, and he also got his dad’s dimple!”
Sa pagtatapos ng panayam, sinabi ni Sandra na mag-isa niyang pinalaki si Coco at hindi siya nag-hire ng katulong dahil nais niyang maging hands-on pagdating sa pag-aalaga sa kaniyang anak.

“Since Corinth is a child born out of love, and one of my favorite chapters in the Bible that defines love is First Corinthians Chapter 13, I thought it was perfect.
“At the same time, I am also only human, and when we are in love, a lot of times we are blinded and act more based on emotion rather than rationality.
Dagdag pa diyan, hindi niya itinanggi ang pagkakahawig ng kaniyang anak sa ama nito kahit pa man hindi sila nakakapag-usap madalas.

“I decided to raise Corinth without a nanny because I want to be there every step of the way as he grows up.
