Actress Carla Abellana can not help but to be sad as she announces that she and fiance Tom Rodriguez will be on a “break” from each other because of this reason.
In her newly uploaded vlog, Carla revealed that they had to separate for a while because of their lock in tapings.
Tom is on the lock-in taping of the Kapuso primetime series The World Between Us with Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis-Smith starting on May 18, Tuesday.
Carla, on the other hand, will be taping the Kapuso drama series To Have and To Hold in Bataan for a month.
“I’m a bit sad because… ahh, Tom also has a new show, not that I’m sad he has a new show—but I’m sad because we won’t be seeing each other in the next couple of months,” she said.
Added her, “So, even if may break in between lock-in taping… unfortunately, ang mga break namin, hindi nagtugma. Hindi common.
“Meaning, the time he will be back from lock-in taping, ako, nasa lock-in taping pa rin. And vice versa.
“So, unfortunately, it’s going to be like that until September. It’s going to be the longest time we’ll be apart, which is more or less four months.
“Ahh, nagkataon pa na kung kailan preparing kami to get married, di ba, wedding preps and all.”
Continued the actress, “But thankfully, we have work. We are very grateful that we both have work. Magkahiwalay man kami ng show, we are so thankful.
“Kasi, at least, we get to continue to put food on our table, support our families, of course.
“And at the same time, siyempre, prepare na rin financially not just for the wedding but for our dream home na rin.
“So, OK iyan. Tiis-tiis na lang muna. Hindi muna magkikita at magsasama nang ilang buwan.
“Pero for sure, e, worth it naman iyan. Because ang importante, ikakasal naman kami, di ba, at the end of our shows.
“So, yeah, wish us luck!”

Sa kaniyang YouTube vlog, sinabi ni Carla na tatagal ng hanggang Setyempre ang hindi nila pagkikita ni Tom.

Nagpapasalamat naman si Carla na kahit magkakahiwalay muna sila pansamantala ng kasintahan ay parehas naman silang may trabaho.
Kaya sa ngayon ay tiis-tiis muna sina Tom at Carla ng apat na buwan.
