Dalagang May ‘Sleeping Beauty Syndrome’, Nakakatulog ng Hanggang 2 Linggo

Marami sa ating ang naniniwala na ang pagtulog ang isa sa pinaka mabisang paraan para makabawi ng lakas sa araw-araw.  Kung minsan nga ay walo o anim na oras na pagtulog ay napakalaking tulong na para tayo ay makapag pahinga at makabawi ng lakas.

Ang mga taong ito ito ay may mga rare condition na tinatawag na “Kleine-Levin syndrome (KLS)” o “sleeping beauty syndrome”. Na kung saan ay kaya nitong matulong ng mas matagal pa sa isang linggo o kaya naman ay hanggang dalawang linggo.

Isa sa may ganitong kondisyon ang babae sa Indonesia na si Siti Raisa Miranda o mas kilala sa kanilang lugar na “Echa”. Ito ay 17 taong gulang. Ayon sa mga dalubhasa ay isa sa isang milyon na populasyon lamang ang tinatamaan ng ganitong katangi-tanging kondisyong medical.

Ayon sa kanyang ama na si Mulyadi Miranda, katulad din si Siti ng ilan sa mga kabataang normal. Kung saan ay nakikipaglaro sa kanyang mga kaibigan at pumapasok sa paaralan.

“If it weren’t for the syndrome, everything would be normal. She’d go to school and play with her friends. Even during the pandemic, she was doing pretty well in her online lessons and classwork.”

Taong 2017 nang kanilang malaman ang kundisyon ng kanilang anak ng ito ay kanilang dahil at ipatingin sa eksperto. Dito din napag alaman nila na wala pa umanong gamot sa kondisyon ng kanilang anak dahil sa isa itong rare medical condition.


Ang tanging ibinigay lamang sa mga ito ay gamot upang mabawasan ang labis na antok nito. Upang mas makaiwas na sumailalim ito sa KLS o Kleine-Levin syndrome.


Ayon din sa magulang nito, ay hindi nila alam kung kalian magkakaroon ng KLS episode ang kanilang anak. Ngunit isa lamang ang kanilang sigurado, na kapag ito ay nagsimulang matulog at maaari itong mangyari.

Also in the said report, the showed a scan of the girl’s abdominal area.

In the scan shown, there was an ample small, circular objects can be seen that filled her organs from her stomach to her colon and her anüs.

Zhang Lou Wei, her physician, asked her what did she consumed; the young girl replied that she taken bubble tea five days ago.With that being said, her physician suspects that the circular objects from the scan may have been pearls.

The doctor rely on the amount seen in the scan, they are pearls that mount up over time due to the regular consumption of the drink. Her doctor prescribe Laxative.

According to the head of the Zhuji City People’s Hospital’s emergency department Yu Ling that tapioca pearls can be really hard to digest.

Futhermore, some manufacturer might put in some additive and thickeners to make the pearls chewier. Still, these can be harmful specially to human’s digestive system when consumed immeasurable quantities.

Indeed, anything that exceeds beyond limit particularly in foods, is not good at all. Be healthy and consume foods in proper.
