Derek Ramsay and fiance Ellen Adarna once again share their funny moments as the Kapuso hunk gets his prank revenge with the actress, who loves scaring and surprising her other half from time to time.
On a video uploaded by Derek, he shared how Ellen was caught off guard as she was walking up the stairs, and Derek was behind the curtains.
And then, Derek began shouting, and the actress’ phone almost fell off!
The TV5 star then started playfully punching her fiance, and you can even hear on the video that she was cursing the GMA star.
Living in one roof for quite some time now, the couple love to update their fans with their exchange of pranks and their candid moments during their free time.
In an interview with Ellene with movie and tv scriptwriter G3 San Diego, she said that her relationship with Derek will always be specifically special due to her progress in self growth and acceptance.
Aside from that, she has also learned how to communicate well, which is the main foundation of their relationship.
“Okay, first is the connection. It’s the communication. And he [Derek] met me at the right time. He met me during the pandemic. I fixed myself, I worked on myself, I did a lot of inner work, so at that time [that we met], I knew what I wanted na. I knew what was good for me, I knew what was bad for me. And when I made better choices for myself, that’s when things just started to come in and everything just made sense,” Ellen said.
Added her, “My relationships before did not work because I would not communicate well. I would shut down. And when I worked on myself, that’s when I learned to communicate in a healthy way. So timing si Derek talaga. And that’s how it works, that’s how our relationship works because we communicate well,” she said.

Ellen Adarna shares a candid father and son moment of his fiance, Derek Ramsay, with his 16 year old offspring, Austin.
In Instagram, Ellen uploads a video of the two rσυghhσυѕιng, trying to pull each other to the pool.
And while Austin was already having the upper hand, Derek flipped his son, successfully pushing him off the water.
“boys will be boys,” Ellen wrote.
Since 14 years old, Austin has been under Derek’s custody, and the actor shared how he parents the kid.
The Kapuso actor said in an interview, “He likes to wakeboard. He wakeboards a lot.”
The actor continued, “He’s into computers which I’m not into.
“That’s when I always tell him, ‘You have to get out.’ Sometimes kasi he just gets stuck in the room with the windows and the blinds shut.
“He gets lost in that world, and I tell him it’s not healthy for you. So I try to get him out more and I’m glad that he’s into wakeboarding now so that he gets some sun.”
And just like his dad, Austin is also a sports buff.
“He’s actually being very active because he’s athletic, e. Sometimes, you know, with the whole COVID thing, bawal talaga lumabas.
“It’s like cαn¢єr sitting down all day, playing in front of your computer or your cellphone or whatever gadget. So I try to balance that.”
Derek also gifted his son with his own dog, a golden retriever named Tootsie.
“I bought a dog so he would walk the dog. That’s his responsibility. All the other dogs, they’re all mine, but the one that you see in the kulungan, that’s Austin’s dog.
“It teaches him, like, a sense of responsibility, so everyday naman niya nilalakad.”

The actor then can be heard saying, “So guys, look at what she’s doing. She is making pausok,”
He then added, “Taking away what… bad energy, huh,” he added.

In an interview with PEP.ph, the couple talked about their perfect amalgamation that later on resulted to engagement after being two months in a relationship.
“Well, di ba, sabi niya [Ellen], one month, feels like one year.” Derek explained.
Added him, “We just clicked. Talagang magka-vibes, hindi lang kami, friends namin.
“Uhm, yung mga friends niya, laging andito sa bahay, siya kasundo lahat ng mga friends ko.
“Alam mo, we just clicked. Parang ang tagal na naming magkakilala. Ganung levels.
Actually, pinagtatawanan nga namin yun, e. Yung every day, magkasama kami, yeah.
“’Tapos, pag hindi kami magkasama, parang magkasama din kami dahil lagi kaming nasa telepono.”
He also talked about marriage, “Yeah, I mean, lahat naman ng tao or marami ang nagsasabi na hindi ko gusto magpakasal. Opinyon nila yun.
“Pero ako, gusto ko. Kaya ilang beses ko na sinasabi na gusto ko, ganun pa rin ang iniisip ng tao.
“Kaya nga sinabi ko, I’ll have the last laugh because I know one day I’ll get married. For sure.
“Ayoko lang magpakasal sa tao na hindi pala yun ang tama para sa akin.”
