These past few months, many have noticed the sudden change in the body of actress Maxene Magalona. Many also say that the 34-year-old actress has lost a lot of weight.

“I’ve always wondered why it’s socially acceptable for people with physical i11nesses to go to the hospital for treatment, while those with mental health conditions have to hide and pretend like they don’t have it?
“I found myself under a lot of stress, dealing with bouts of anx1ety and having episodes of rage. I was an adult having embarrassing t4ntrums, but I couldn’t really understand where all the an6er was coming from.”
Because of what she has been through, she allegedly came to the point where she often got drunk. Instead of helping, her mental health condition only worsened. Maxene was allegedly forced to consult a doctor.
Maxene was diagnosed with complex post-tr4umatic stress dis0rder or C-PTSD.
This is also said to be the reason why he always experiences having mood swings. According to experts, one of its causes is the repetitive trauma a person has experienced.
Maxene, on the other hand, advises people like her who are going through a difficult time. According to the actress, don’t hesitate to ask for help from your loved ones to lighten the weight you are carrying.
The actress advised,
“This was the reason why I was feeling helpless and had difficulty controlling my emotions. After we figured out what the problem was, I began taking the necessary steps to heal such as regular therapy, daily yoga, meditation and prayer. Remember that #youarenotyourmind and although thoughts can be overwhelming, trust that you have the power to h3al your past tr4umas.”

On her Instagram page, the actress uploaded a sad photo of her lying on the bed.
According to Maxene, the photo was taken a week after she arrived back home in Manila. It was just in March when she announced that she’s finally back in the country after staying in Bali, Indonesia for more than a year. Read more:
“I took this photo exactly a week after I had just arrived back home in Manila. It was my first time to experience being in quarantine as I was used to going out in Bali everyday. I tried to go about my days as normally as I could and just continued with my daily routine. I even made a schedule of things to do that would keep me busy and productive. Being the ‘strong independent woman’ that I am, I was determined to keep the situation under control.”
She likewise opened up what she felt at that time.
“On this day, however, I started getting a migraine and my body began to physically collapse. When this happens, I usually get frustrated because I don’t like the feeling of “losing control.” I started getting emotional and instead of holding back my tears, I just allowed them to come. Gradually, the emotions that I had been keeping bottled up inside of me for God knows how long started to surface.”
