May chance nga ba na magkabalikan muli ang love team na MayWard?
Sina Maymay Entrata at Edward Barber ay isa sa mga tiniliang love team sa Pinoy Big Brother. Ang kanilang fans ang unang tumawag sa kanila bilang MayWard.
Parehas nag simula sa reality game show noon ng ABS-CBN ang dalawa kung saan sila nagkakilala. Dalawang magkaibang mundo ang nagtagpo at nag simula sa friendship.
Naging mas malalim pa ang pagsasamahan ng dalawa dahil sa kanilang closeness. Pag labas ng bahay ni Kuya, isa na sila sa mga uprising love teams ng Kapamilya network.
Subalit hindi ito nag tagal. Ikinalungkot ng kanilang thousand fans nang mag anunsyo sila ng official statement na “we are no longer a love team.”
Sa naging panayam noon ni Edward, lumalabas na kuntento na sila sa kanilang friendship at hindi na kailangan pang lumagpas doon.
Muling nagkasama ang dalawa sa iisang screen nang ma-interview ni Edward si Maymay sa kanyang “Kwentong Barber.”
Biglang tinanong naman ng aktor si Maymay, “I’ve been thinking about this for a bit and I’m not gonna ask you in such a detailed way… Maymay is there still a chance?”
Halatang nagulat ang dalaga sa tanong ni Edward. Pero may honest answer si Maymay tungkol dito.
Edward, yung totoo, honestly talaga, ang pinaka ayaw ko ay mag paasa… as much as possible gusto ko talaga na maging totoo ako sa nararamdaman ko at alam mo yun…”
“Sige magpakatotoo na tayo. Kagaya ng sinabi mo kanina kasi yung mga pagkakamaling nagawa… Ang pinakamahirap kasi sakin kapag kasi alam mo yun, kapay nasira na yung tiwala,” malaman na sagot ni Maymay.
Hindi naman malinaw kung bakit “nawala ang tiwala” ni Maymay kay Edward.

Former on screen partners Maymay Entrata and Edward Barbers have an intimate confrontation during the finale of his digital show, “Kwentong Barber.”
On the said interview, the two talked about heir career as artists, their journey as MayWard, and finally, their thoughts about the break up of their love team.
Edward then asked Maymay about the chance of their romance after what happened.
But the actress gave a direct reply about his inquiry, and it was something the broke their fans heart.
“Yung heart ko at the moment, kahit siguro nasa process ako na hindi ako okay, kahit nasa process ako na naghi-heal palang ako doon sa past ko, isa sa pinakamasaya ako at pinasasalamatan ko… masaya ang puso ko,” she said.
Edward then replied, “I’m happy with that. As long as you have joy and happiness, that’s something that we can all indulge on,”
Added the host, “Whatever Maymay chooses, whatever I choose, that will be joyful and happy. Kung ano ‘yung magiging desisyon ni May, that’s what we choose. ‘Yun na ‘yun,”
Eventually, the Kapamilya actress decided to weigh in about Edward’s opinion,, “Sige magpakatotoo na tayo. Kagaya ng sinabi mo kanina ‘yung mga pagkakamaling nagawa. Ang pinakamahirap kasi sa ‘kin kapag nasira na ‘yung tiwala, ang hirap mabalik,” she said.
After admitting that she’s in a relationship just recently, Maymay expressed her contentment with her current romance now.
“Ayoko rin magpaasa lalo na’t sa ngayon nahanap ko ‘yung saya na gusto ko. At nahanap ko ‘yung saya na ‘yun nung panahon na walang kahit sinong tumulong o nandyan para sa ‘kin,”

Maymay Entrata finally admits on having a special someone but unfortunately, it is not Edward Barber.
In her interview with Mega Magazine, the actress talked about the person who is making her happy as of the moment.
“Sa totoo lang po may nagpapasaya na po sa aking puso at naway kahit anong maging desisyon namin ay respetuhin po ‘yun ng aking mga taga-supporta.”
She decided not to name or even share hints about the identity of the person.
MAYWARD BREAK UP
Maymay has been linked to onscreen partner Edward Barber ever since they got out of the Pinoy Big Brother house.
But much to their fans’ dismay, the two later on confirmed that they are better off as friends and will be pursuing solo projects for the mean time.
Pareho po namin na-realize na sa estado ng buhay namin ngayon, we both are still very young, and there is so much more we still want to achieve in our lives,” they said in the joint statement.
“We both agree there is no need to rush into anything. This means not having a romantic relationship between us at this point,” they added.
In an interview in January of this year, Edward also stressed out his content with his friendship with Maymay.
“We’re content where we are and with the friendship that we have so there’s no need to push it any further. Maymay and I are the closest of friends,” he said.
MAYMAY ON MAXIMIZING HER POTENTIAL
Going back on her interview with Mega, the actress said that she has now a direct path as an artist.
“Dahil sa experience ko po for five years dito sa industriya, mas nakilala ko ang sarili ko. Now I know my strengths and weaknesses. And, because of that I can now face problems and difficulties head on. My direction in life has also become clearer– lalo na’t alam kong nakakapagbigay ito ng saya at tulong sa iba,” she stated.
