Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza has already met controversy even before completing her first day of reign as the newly-crowned Miss Universe.
From the moment she gets crowned, her name became known around the world.
But it also led pageant fans deep into her Instagram, and some said she had broken the rules.
An old 2019 photo of Miss Universe Andrea Meza has gone viral. It went viral fast because it showed the beauty queen in a wedding dress, standing very close to a guy who was also in a suit.
In the photo, they looked very sweet together and the caption was:
“I am infinitely grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to meet you this time and cross our path. Today begins a new stage of our lives and I am sure that sharing everything by your side will make me the happiest person in the world. @andreamezamx [ring emoji].”
The two were pictured intimate by the cliff, and the beauty queen captioned it with a date and a ring emoji.
Netizens, meanwhile, were quick to judge, concluding that Andrea is no longer single and not qualified to be Miss Universe.
In the post’s comment section, Laura Lehman, Philippines Miss World 2017 also gave her a congratulatory message.
It is against the rules for Miss Universe contestants to be married. Some fans thought they had unearthed a sc4ndal.
But then, it turned out this is only for her hometown’s tourism campaign. She was hailed from Chihuahua City and apparently, she is a tourism ambassador of Chihuahua.
And to those who wanted to dethrone her, it seems like it’s impossible to get her out of it for she is single and unmarried.

Based on what was stated in the paper that spread ‘that is the 69th Miss Universe 2020 is the Philippines and this is Rabiya Mateo.
Based on the expert judges, Rabiya Mateo should have been included in the top 10 or up to the top 5.
Because of her performance in her swimsuit, which is said to have the best look on her body and she is very good at ramming.
But the judges and many Filipinos were shocked that Rabiya was not on the list, however, the many Pinoys already accepted the winners and turned to Miss India and Miss Peru because those two really deserve to win after the Philippines fails to enter the top 10 to top 5.
In the end, the winner of the contest was Miss Mexico, who was not really accepted by the majority because of the ugly delivery of her answer.
It is also rumored many judges were Latinas, even the hosts and dancers so Mexico won and the Latinas have not won for 5 years.
