A 35-year-old woman with down syndr0me from Valladolid, Negros Occidental is now being admired by the online community because of the beauty of her artwork shared online.
The artworks of Jessica Alabia were shared by her sister Jecelle on the Facebook group “Guhit Pinas.”
In the said post, seven of Jessica’s artworks were posted and she did all of that using bond paper and colored pens.
Jecelle wrote on her post,

Valladolid, Negros Occidental
Materials Used: Short Bond Papers
And Colored Pens.”
In Jecelle’s interview with News 5, she said that Jessica was only 15-years-old when she started painting some objects.
She always asked them to buy her drawing stuff and then she will draw as a gift to her family. According to Jessica, her sister’s artwork could easily tell that she is a happy kid.
Jecelle shared,
“She would ask us to buy her drawing stuff and then mag-draw siya as gifts sa amin. She basically paints anything na maisipan niya. Usually to represent her emotions, as the colors of her artworks would easily tell, she’s a happy kid.”
She added,
“And she knows how much we love her long before people heard of her or saw her works. We’re amazed at how passionate she is to her craft. We thank and praise the Lord Jesus for her.”
Jessica’s family was not the only one who admired her talent but also the netizens who expressed their amazement with her works.
A netizen commented,
“Ang ganda ng dating, like nakaka akit talaga sa mata Yung mga gawa niya. And also may sarili syang style, napaka imaginative!”
People with down syndrome actually have natural talents. Although they lack in other things, they are still dominant in other aspects such as art.

Jhopye’s eye color is a strange condition because it is not the normal eye color of a child. And it was found that she had a speech impediment. Perhaps one of the reasons Jhopye is different from other children is their pov3rty.
Pov3rty may be a factor that affected Jhopye’s nutrition when she was still in her mother’s tummy. Their family only lives at the top of the mountain and they are having a difficulty in life, especially in the financial aspect.
Jhopye wants to study despite her condition. Mark felt pity for the child, so he decided to post Jhopye’s story on social media to reach out to many people in the hope that it would help Jhopye as well as her family and help her finish her study and have a better future.
Because of the post, many netizens took pity on the child’s situation and many were also amazed at her strange eye.
