2017 Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters and Governor Migz Villafuerte of Camarines Sur are married.
The pair shared a snapshot of their civil wedding at the Supreme Court in Manila today, July 17, 2021.
Wrote Rachel in the caption on her Instagram post, “Celebrated 7 years together by making it official”
Migz expressed gratitude to Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo of the Supreme Court for allowing to marry them there.
Associate Justice Samuel Gaerlan of the United States Supreme Court wedded the couple.
He then penned on his post, “Mr&Mrs V [heart emoji]. Thank you to Chief Justice Gesmundo and Justice Gaerlan for the honor of Marrying us.”
He went on to say that they plan to hold another wedding next year so that their family, friends, and future children can attend.
Added the politician, “I love you so much @rachelpetersx! You are my dream woman.
“I cant wait to marry you again next year with all our family, friends and most especially our little one coming soon.”
In her recent vlog, Peters revealed her adjustments on her journey to pregnancy.
“So I know that every pregnancy is different, but with this being our first pregnancy, Migz being a little bit paranoid, the time that it took us to get pregnant and also, COVID cases were on the rise when all of this was happening.
“The doctor’s orders were pretty simple, and that was bed rest until the end of the first trimester. This was really hard for me.
“Basically, I had to drop certain aspects of my lifestyle in an instant. I’ve always traveled a lot, loved hanging out with friends, sharing a coffee or bottle of wine.
“I worked out basically every day. And, of course, you can’t forget the sushi and the cold cuts.”
