Former actress and now vlogger Andi Eigenmann is dead serious about raising a “non-materialistic” kids.
On her recent Youtube post, Andi recalled that she learned the downfall of being too materialistic the very hard way.
It was when she was working in showbiz that she resorted to “retail therapy” to ease her stress after a busy week.
According to Andy, retail therapy is a n act of splurging your money on unnecessary things as an escape from sadness or stress.
“Living simply is very important to me. It’s basically what changed my life and made it better.” she explained.
Added her, “I always write about it in my Instagram posts.
“I always write about wanting and striving to be the best person that I can be, so that I can influence my children to be the same…
In the past, I feel like, you know, I relied on material things.
“Retail therapy all the time to make myself feel better or as a way to reward myself when I’ve had a busy work week.”
After dawning into that realization, she sold all her “luxury items,” including her car, in July 2018, and relocated in Baler, Quezon and would only go back to Manila, by bus, each time she has a project.
The same year, she met her boyfriend Philmar Alipayo and decided to move in Siargao for good.
“Philmar was also a big aspect of this. He was the person that made me realize how much more important it was to live in the moment.
“And build more meaningful relationships, and spend your money creating all of these memories rather than things you’ll probably won’t remember.”
Pamilya Ni Andi Eigenmann, Usap-usapan Ngayon Sa Social Media Dahil Sa Bagay Na Ito!
Naging viral sa social media kamakailan lamang ang pamilya ni Andi Eigenmann matapos mapansin ng mga netizens kung gaano sila kasaya ngayon na bumalik na sila sa kanilang tahanan sa Siargao.
Sa YouTube channel ni Andi, inanunsyo niya na nakabalik na sila ngayon lamang sa Siargao kasama ang kaniyang kasintahan na si Philmar Alipayo at ang kanilang mga anak na sina Ellie, Lilo, at Koa matapos ang halos isang taon na pananatili sa syudad.
Naging viral din sa social media ang Instagram post ng aktres kung saan ibinahagi niya ang larawan ng kaniyang mga anak na naglalaro sa beach.
Ibinahagi din niya ang kaniyang post-partum body matapos ang kaniyang panganganak sa pangatlo niyang anak.
Aniya sa caption ng kaniyang post,
“Only recent pic of me in my photo library that wasn’t meant to be a “before” pic. Posting it because just because I know that my postpartum body wont stay– just as all my previous bodies: my young athlete body, my junkfood- filled lazy student body, my artista body, my pre- pregnancy, pregnancy body and so on!– it is in fact my “NOW” body too. And it doesnt mean I dont love it. I still love it! I am still grateful for it! And I still feel cute in it!:D”
Samantala, isa pang post ng aktres ang naging usap-usapan online kung saan dito ay nabanggit naman niya ang tungkol sa importansya ng paglaki ng mga bata sa isang maayos na kapaligiran.
Kaakibat ng kaniyang post ay ang larawan ni Lilo na naglalaro ng buhangin.
Saad niya,
“Children deserve to grow in a place & alongside a force that is as wild and alive as they are. Spending time playing and exploring the great outdoors allows them not only to learn of the importance of nature, but also to learn about themselves. It’s a wonderful way to feed their curiosity, learn about cause and effect, widen their imagination and improve their observational skills. I will forever be grateful for all the good nature continues to provide me & my children. It’s my gift to both to give them the privilege of being nourished by each other.”
