“Alam nyo ba, trivia para sa lahat. At one point, dahil sa mga kalokohan ko, pinalayas ako ni momski. Akala nyo ba ganito ganito lang kami? Hindi. Dumating ‘yun sa point (na) pinalayas ako ni mamskie. ‘Di ba momski,” he stated.

Moreover, Vilma revealed her side and uncover that it was because Luis was unreasonable at that time. She also stated that there is no perfect family, which is right.

“Long time ago. Yung kakulitan niya kasi. Hindi niya alam kung ano yung gusto niya sa buhay at kung anu-ano mga pinag-gagawa niyang hindi maganda. Sabi ko ‘you want to live alone? Sige go, go ahead’,” Vilma answered.

Isa sa mga taong maligaya sa engagement ng celebrity couple na sina Luis Manzano at Jessy Mendiola, ito ay walang iba kundi ang Star for All Season na si Vilma Santos.

Ngayon pa nga lang ay labis na ang kaligayahan at excitement na nararamdaman ng actress-turned-politician na si Vilma Santos para sa kasal ng kaniyang panganay na anak at ng aktres na si Jessy Mendiola na magaganap na umano anytime next year ng 2021.

Ayon kay Vilma Santos, bakas daw sa mukha ni Jessy ang tunay na kaligayahan nang mag-propose na dito ang kaniyang anak na si Luis. Dito umano niya napatunayan kung gaano kamahal ng aktres ang kaniyang anak.

“They sent me a picture na tinuturo ni Lucky yung ring na suot suot ni Jessy. Tapos hindi ko pa napansin noong una. Tapos, ano yon? And then, pumunta sila dito sa bahay at ipinakita ni Jessy yung ring.”

Nang tanungin si Vilma sa mga quality na gusto niya para sa kaniyang future daughter-in-law, sagot niya,

“Nakita ko, yung minahal niya talaga si Lucky. Mahal niya ang anak ko.”

Hanga din daw siya sa pamilya ni Jessy at kinabiliban niya din ang tapang ng dalaga dahil nakakayanan nito ang lahat ng intriga at mga batikos na natatanggap nito.

Saad pa ni Vilma,

“Isa in-appreciate ko sa kaniya, she’s very prayerful person. Nagro-rosary yan every day at nagkataon din na nalaman ko na malapit din siya sa family. Matagal ko na din hinihintay yung engagement. Lagi kong sinasabi noon kay Lucky, ‘You are not getting any younger.’ Gusto ko ma-enjoy din niya yung family life.”

Ibinahagi nina Jessy at Luis ang kanilang engagement noong Disyembre 12, 2020. Naganap ang proposal noong Oktubre pa ngunit ngayon lamang nila ito isinapubliko. Ang kumalat ng engagement photos ng dalawa sa social media kung saan makikita na sila ay bihis na bihis ay kuha sa Amanpulo, Palawan at hindi ito ang aktwal na engagement day.

Ayon kay Luis, sila ay nagtungo sa Amanpulo para doon mag-pictorial bilang engaged couple. Ngunit, hindi pa ito ang kanilang prenup shoot.
