The Journalist and anchorman Raffy Tulfo finally bid goodbye to his television program, Idol in Action. On October 1, 2021, Idol Raffy shared his decision to leave the said program. But the journalist clarified that he will not be leaving his popular program “Raffy Tulfo in Action” where he became popular.
Tulfo said, “Saan man po kami makarating, kayo po palagi ay nasa isipan namin.”
He added, “Huwag ho kayong mag-alala, lalo pong lalakas ang Raffy Tulfo in Action, that I promise you. Trust me.”
The journalist thanked his staff and also gave them luxury items as gifts for their hard work and for being good co-workers. He also said in his farewell message to Frontline Pilipinas that he felt a mixture of sadness and joy right now as he is saying his goodbye to the program that has become part of his life.
The well-known journalist said, “Lungkot, dahil sa loob ng halos isang taon, naging mahalagang parte na po ng buhay ko, kasama ang mga magagaling at masisipag na News5 team, na nagbibigay sa inyo ng mga importante at makabuluhang balita at impormasyon gabi gabi.”
He added, “Saya, dahil naging bahagi ako ng isang prestihiyoso at iginagalang na news organization. Isang karangalan mula ngayon at magpakailanman ay naktatak na sa aking puso at aking maipagmamalaki saan man po ako makarating.”
According to some news, Tulfo’s planned candidacy as a senator is the reason why he left some of his television programs. The Philippine Omnibus Election Code prohibits candidates from appearing on television once they have filed a certificate of candidacy.
Just last month Tulfo faced controversy because of his comments about the President’s alleged remaining term and the 16-M who voted for him.

The veteran anchorman and TV host Raffy Tulfo has finally said goodbye to TV5 to run in the national election this coming May 2022. According to the information gathered by veteran writer, radio, and online host Cristy Fermin within TV5.
Raffy Tulfo allegedly talked to TV5 management and said goodbye to his colleagues and bosses there. If there are no changes in the plan until February 2022, only Raffy Tulfo’s programs will be available on TV5.
This is due to his intention to run in the election to be held on May 9, 2022. The law stipulates that candidates are prohibited from watching television once they have filed a certificate of candidacy.
Raffy Tulfo currently has three programs on TV5. It is Newcast Frontline Pilipinas, Idol in Action, and Wanted on Radio. Although Raffy Tulfo’s colleagues and staff at TV5 are saddened by his temporary farewell. The decision of the veteran journalist was supported by them.
There is floating news that Raffy Tulfo may be the Vice President of Senator Manny Pacquiao of the PDP-Laban in its Presidential Bid. The combination of Isko Moreno and Raffy Tulfo as Vice President also resonated with their supporters.
