The Philippines’ number one professional surfer from the island of Siargao, John Mark “Marama” Tokong has been married to Danni Hughes, recently, in Australia.
“And now we are Mr. & Mrs., …The day we celebrate our love “, Tokong shared the interesting news with an album of beautiful wedding pictures with his gorgeous wife Danni, on his Instagram and Facebook Page account. The Hughes family and their daughter Olive Indigo are also pictured at the time of their wedding day.
Their pictures become the talk of the town in the online community and many times uploaded by various Facebook pages and social media users. Several netizens shared their satisfaction with the newlywed couple.
“LOVE is not when you find a person who has all you ever dream of, but it is when a person has nothing what you wanted & yet you want to compromise everything for that person. Congratulations!”, One social media user said on Tokong’s Facebook post.

Furthermore, some social media users got interested in one of their photos. They were curious why Tokong is stepping on the toe of Danni. One social media user spoke it was a wedding tradition.

Marama Tokong gave honor when he won the World Surfing League 25th Siargao Cloud 9 International Surfing Cup in 2019.

“Alam niyo bang pag tapos ni Ijo bitawan yung wedding vow niya, lumobo yung sipon niya at mula nun di na ko nakinig kay father. Tumawa na lang ako ng tumawa hanggang matapos yung kasal. Hahaha sabi niya wag ko na ipagsabi pero 2 years naman na kaya baka pwede na ikuwento,” pahayag ni John Alvin sa kanyang viral na Facebook post.
Nagbahagi rin siya ng mga larawan kung saan makikitang tumatawa sila pareho ng kanyang bride. At dahil hindi mapigilan ng groom ang pagtawa, panandaliang naantala ang seremonya. Hanggang sa huli ay maging ang bride at iba pa nilang bisita ay natawa na lamang.
Sa kabilang banda, agad naman itong nag-viral sa social media. Maraming netizens ang naaliw sa nakakakilig na kwento ng mag-asawang ito. Sa ngayon ay mayroon na itong mahigit 136,000 likes at 66,000 shares mula sa mga netizens sa Facebook.
