Ito ang namutawi ng maraming netizens matapos sinupalpalin ni Bugoy ang mga basher ng kanyang partner na si EJ Laure.

Si Bugoy ay dating ABS-CBN child star na naging miyembro ng all-male group ng It’s Showtime na Hashtags.

Si EJ naman ay former UAAP volleyball player mula sa University of Sto. Tomas.

Limang taon ang agwat ng magkasintahan—ngayon ay 19 taong gulang si Bugoy, habang si EJ ay 24.

Dahil sa pagkakaroon ng responsibilidad sa murang edad, hindi naging madali ang pagsasama nina Bugoy at EJ.

Umani ng batikos ang magkasintahan, partikular si EJ, dahil nakipagrelasyon siya at nagkaanak noong mga panahong menor de edad pa si Bugoy.

Some netizens slammed EJ, 23, for getting into a relationship with the teen actor, who is now 18 years old.

Recently, on Instagram, Bugoy taunted their bashers with a video of them kissing each other on the lips and then dancing afterward.

He dances to the tune of “Heartbreak Anniversary” by American R&B artist Giveon.

“Post-Valentine dance for you,” he wrote in the caption before tagging Laure.

Carino also had a message to their bashers who are still not in favor of their relationship.

“O mga basher dyan wag nang bitter HAHAHAHA 2021 na,” he said.

Last year, the actor-athlete couple became the subject of critics when Bugoy posted a photo of his family, including their young daughter, Scarlet for his 18th birthday.

Bugoy and EJ are also being criticized because of their age gap.

Both are young achievers in their own right, with EJ winning UAAP Rookie of the Year back in Season 77, while Bugoy made his mark as a promising young actor.

In an interview, the two talked about their experience as young parents to their daughter Scarlet.

Carino said his outlook in life has changed, and Laure and their daughter are now his top priorities.

Carino said Laure used to get affected by what she reads on social media, but he tried to help her change this.
