Derek Ramsay and fiance Ellen Adarna trends anew as he gives the actress a sweet post in Instagram.
Sharing a collage of their selfies, Derek greeted Ellen a warm welcome as she finishes the first set of her lock in taping for her TV5 sitcom, John en Ellen.
“Welcome home love!” Derek wrote in the post.
Just recently, Derek has already confirmed that he and Ellen are already living together.
Ellen and her 2 year old son, Elias Modesto are currently residing under Derek’s roof, despite of the two being basically neighbors.
He also revealed that after their engagement in April, they are already processing papers for their wedding.
“Ang dami naming oras dito, nagpaplano na kami. Kumuha na nga kami ng application for marriage license. Slowly, pinaplano na namin,”
Added him, “Dito nakatira si Ellen. She’s staying here now. Kasi, dapat mag-umpisa na sila ng taping, hindi na siya punta ng Cebu.
“Pero dito muna siya habang hinihintay ang show nila ni John, magla-lock-in din sila, e. Oo, dito na siya,”
For Ellen, moving in together before the wedding is a vital part of getting to know each other stage.
Kasi ako, yung parents ko are very not conservative. When I was 18, I was kicked out of the house.
“And that time, when I was 18, nung boyfriend ko that time, my dad suggested na, ‘Mag-live-in kayo. Get to know your partner.’
“Yun talaga ang fear niya—magpakasal kami at a very young age.
“He wanted us to get to know our partner, get to know what we want and what we don’t want.” she said in an interview.
Added her, “I’m sanay na nag-live-in since I was 18. Lahat kasi nag-live-in na kami.
“So feeling ko, if I don’t live with the person, parang, ‘Oh my god, how will I get to know him? How will I get to know the truth?’
“Because it’s really different when you’re in the same house.”

Sa Isang Instagram story kung saan madalas siyang nagpapa Question and Answer sa kaniyang mga fans, sinagot niya ang tanong ng isang follower, “If Derek cheats on you, will you forgive and still accept him?”
“No1, no, no no,” agad na sagot na aktres.
Habang si Derek na kaniyang katabi ay narinig naman ang sinagot ni Ellen. “No, I will not cheat on you. Why talk about negativity?”
Matapos ipaliwanag ng aktres na ito ay tanong lamang at nais lamang niyang linawin na hindi siya nagbibigay ng tsansa sa mga taong mang loloko.
“Gwapa ko dzai pero kung mag-binuang siya (Maganda ako, ‘da, pero kung magloko siya), goodbye!”
Maalalang naggkakilala lamang noong Enero 2021 ang dalawa at agad nagkapalagayan ng loob.
Matapos ang tatlong buwan ay engaged na ang magkasintahan.
Minsan na rin silang tinanong sa isang interview kung ano sa tingin nila ang dahilan kung bakit sigurado na sila sa isa’t isa, at agad namang nagpaliwanag si Ellen.
“First is the connection, [it] is the communication.
“He met me at the right time.
“He met me because during the pandemic, I fixed myself, I worked on myself. I did a lot of inner work,
“So, at that time, I knew what I wanted na. I knew what was good for me. I knew what was bad for me.
“And then when I made better choices and for myself, that’s when things started to come in and everything made sense.”
